First, double check that your learner has taken the Formative Assessments that align with each lesson. If the learner has not completed those, administer and review any lessons and content students are not successfully completing.
Second, give the first 5 questions of the next baseline assessment. If the learner misses some of those questions, stop and plan the lesson sequence. If the learner is successful with those questions, keep going with the baseline until the learner has missed 4-5 questions. Then, stop and plan the lesson sequence.
